Henry Millin joined Sobel & Co. in January 2010 when his firm, M.I. Grossman and Company, merged with Sobel & Co. Henry has over 45 years of extensive experience in Auditing, Taxation and Advisory Services. Mr. Millin has served clients in many different industries, with a special focus on securities broker/dealers, construction and manufacturing. He has a diverse customer base of small to medium size businesses across the tri state area as well as a large base of individual clients in the financial services industry.

Born and educated in South Africa, Mr. Millin established his first accounting firm in South Africa in 1965. As a founding partner he built this into a substantial firm focusing on middle market companies. In 1980, Mr. Millin immigrated to America with his family. In 1983, he joined M.I. Grossman and Company as a partner. Mr. Millin prides himself on a personal, hands-on approach to both big and small clients. Understanding his clients' businesses and building close relationships with them are the foundations of his success. Mr. Millin is pleased to find that this same client focused approach is core to the team at Sobel and Co. Mr. Millin is a member of the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Millin is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was an active board member of his temple in South Africa and held the positions of President and Treasurer. He continues to participate in local Jewish affairs.

Mr. Millin is a graduate of the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 1963 and followed that with earning his Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (the English equivalent of the American CPA Degree). He was awarded his CPA Degree in 1979 from the University of New York.

Henry and his wife Monica reside in Springfield, New Jersey.
