Martin Cutler became a Member of the Firm of Sobel & Co. when he joined them in December 2006 after having served as the Managing Partner of Shachat & Simson since 1991. Mr. Cutler has provided consulting, auditing, accounting, tax planning and compliance services to middle market clients for more than 35 years. He has worked extensively in a broad range of industries including securities broker/dealers, law firms, construction contractors and insurance agencies. He has lectured to credit grantors and law firms on the correct interpretation of financial statements and various tax topics.

Marty's approach is to focus on the fiscal needs of the businesses and individuals he serves and this close attention to the critical details of their financial lives serves to enhance and support every other aspect of their lives for today and for tomorrow.  

Marty is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He has also been appointed as a Member of the Board of the Village for Healthcare & Rehabilitation of Workmen's Circle and the Axelrod Performing Arts Center.

A graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, he is also a sports enthusiast and member of Bella Vista Country Club.

Marty resides in Manalapan with his wife Paula.
